Weekday Training:

. . . . . Tuesday evening (August 29) starting at 7 pm at Northwestern University.

Weekend Practice:

. . . . . Saturday (September 2) starting at 4 pm at Northwestern University.

Northwestern Goals:

. . . . . The note from yesterday, in case you missed it:

Hi CFHC!

The Northwestern Wildcats field hockey team is looking for volunteers for ball people at their home games. They would prefer to use players who know the game and understand when & where a ball should be provided - in return they would like to donate $25/ball person per game to the club. We in turn would like to apply that donation to reducing the tournament fees or travel expenses of any members who volunteer e.g. the upcoming Atlanta Cup.

Attached is a pdf of the full Wildcat schedule, they definately need volunteers for the circled games at 1pm on Sept 1st, 3rd and 30th and possibly need 1 or 2 for the rest of the home games on Sept 15th, 16th & 22nd and Oct 20th & 22nd. If you are interested in volunteering please let Theresa and I know so we can put you in touch with the Northwestern coaching staff. Also, if you fancy going along to support them for any of the games I am sure they would appreciate it.

Cheers, Simon

. . . . . P.S. some pictures from last week's game are now posted here!

Lost and Found:

. . . . . Joshua, the sandwich king, still has someone's large blue bin that we used for ice and drinks at Chicago Cup. He'd like to give it back to the owner (or throw it away if you don't want it anymore), but an't remember whose it is. Please email Joshua to claim it if it is yours!

. . . . . Also, Itisha left a pink Puma jacket a few practices ago -- did anyone happen to pick it up??

MidSeason Survey:

. . . . .Thanks to everyone who has sent in the surveys so far. If you haven't please do so - we value your input.
