CFHC Outdoor Season
Starts March 25th
CFHC will have our 'opening day' of the outdoor season
on Saturday, March 25th, from 2pm-4pm at Northwestern. Please
arrive on time -- we want to try to play in the warmest
part of the day, and it's more fun when we don't have to
try to continually fill in the stragglers. There will be
a social outing afterwards at Nevin's in Evanston -- join
us for a drink and a chance to catch up with your teammates!
We need funds to cover our budget for the year, so we ask
that returning members especially bring their checkbooks
on March 25th and pay your club dues. The annual dues are
structured such that it will cost full members $150 and
student members $100 -- this includes $50 that you pay to
USFHA for their membership and insurance coverage. We have
investigated insurance options for the club and individuals
for the whole season as well as just the tournament and
$50 per person is a GREAT deal -insurance for just the weekend
of the cup was going to be $3,000! With the USFHA membership
you get full liability and supplemental medical insurance
for the whole year at any CFHC field hockey event (including
practice) or other USFHA sanctioned tournament/game plus
all the benefits of membership (newsletters etc) and the
knowledge that you are truly supporting the growth of field
hockey in the US - all for only $50. USFHA Membership is

Therefore, please bring to the first practice:
+ A check made payable to "Chicago Field Hockey Club"
for $100 (Full member) or $50 (Student)
+ Proof of your USFHA membership (card, printed receipt
from website etc)
+ A signed 2006 Season CFHC waiver - available for download
here
