Hockey Bio: Allie's field hockey career began in Hartland, Wisconsin, at Arrowhead High School. Wisconsin is not a mecca of hockey greatness, which allowed her to reach the pinnacle of her career early, as team captain, co-MVP, and even All-State in her senior year. In college, Allie missed playing the game, so she started a club field hockey team at Northwestern, which gained instant class and stature when Nadeem Khan joined in a coaching capacity. The NU club team enjoyed much competetive action against North Shore Field Hockey Club, a precursor to the CFHC which her team lovingly referred to as "The Old Ladies," due to the population of retired hockey players who regularly kicked their butts. Over the ensuing years, with an increasingly lower lung capacity, Allie has played on club teams in Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and briefly in Chicago, before moving to Guatemala, a country that has not yet discovered the joy of field hockey, so she had to retire briefly from hockey. Now back in Chicago, Allie has recently dabbled in a cross-over career in ice hockey, which she finds quite enjoyable, since she gets to slam into people and kick the puck with her feet.

CFHC Experience: I finally am in Chicago to stay (I think), and I'm so excited to be on the CFHC! It is such a pleasure to run around and hit balls with the amazing players on the team, from whom I hope to learn some mad skills. I truly enjoy the camaraderie of this welcoming, diverse, fascinating group of people. Thanks for letting me play with you!
