Hockey Bio: Ana started playing at the age of  9-10 when her mom was dropping off her brothers at her hometown club: Marabunta Rugby Club. She picked it up really fast and soon chose field hockey as her sport dropping out tennis and gymnastics. She's played in every single position and level all way through graduating from High School and leaving town to attend college. She even played goalie during one season, and ended up playing her last year on our regional first league as left defense, winning the champions league for the 3rd year in a row. Ana moved to Buenos Aires and was managed to get a group from other towns for scrimmages on Saturdays.

CFHC Experience: My experience so far has been one of the best things that happened to me in Chicago. It has been two years already and when moving here I could have never imagined that one year later I was going to ask my brother to send me my stick and turf shoes from home. I met so many great people from all over the world that it's amazing being part of such a diverse group of people who shares the same love for the game, and the insanity of driving for more than 1 hour to get to an indoor facility to play during winter season. I found really good friends here: the ones that make fun of me, the ones that are always up for the drinks after practice, the ones that make you sign up to run a marathon with them, the ones that share all the trips, the ones that make you an assisting coach for a JV hockey high school team, the ones you can talk about everything, the ones that cracks you up, the ones that are gone, the ones that are always there and the ones that always give me a ride. It's been the most important activity outside my job here in Chicago, it helped me so much and motivated me in many ways that I can't be thankful enough.
