Hockey Bio: Courtney started playing field hockey when she was 11 years old. She fell in love with the sport instantly and started to put a lot of time into it. Having grown up on the East Coast she had the opportunity to play in the Bay State Games, the Futures’ Program and a Regional Team that traveled to tournaments in Florida and California. She wanted to continue field hockey in college and therefore decided to go to Northeastern University. Northeastern being a highly competitive Division 1 Team, Courtney found herself quickly burnt out and subsequently quit playing after 1 year. Courtney says she had forgotten how much she loved field hockey until joining up with CFHC.

CFHC Experience: I am new to the squad and joined CFHC at the beginning of April.  I was blown away by how welcoming everyone was and was so excited about it that I drove home witha huge smile on my face and couldn't stop talking about how great it was for the rest of the day.  As long as I live in Chicago and the CFHC is around, I plan on running around with this great group of people every weekend.
