Hockey Bio: Montoo
p icked up hockey at age 11 when he first saw my sisters
play for their team. Yup they bullied me with their sticks...
Had a break of 6 yrs before I started playing in Chicago.
Played for Maharashtra State in India,called for National
under 19 selection, Played Div 2 League in Bombay. Boy
under 15 coach and Girls under 15 high school coach. Conducted
Summer Hockey clinics for my school and college. Montoo
has been an integral part of the club development. Being
one of the founding members of the current club set up.
Furthermore Montoo influenced the growth of the club by
launching CFHC online for the first time a few years ago.
CFHC Experience:
Love being part of this wonderful
social sports club. I have seen it grow from infancy.
Met a lot of cool and wonderful people and have seen a
lot of different playing styles.Still learning to play
and adapt to the different styles and speeds in our club.
I think this is one of the best amateur sports clubs in
Chicago where you get to meet people from all over the
world and share some common interests. Where else can
you rough up a player on theField and still be good friends
and have a drink with them the next hr.
