Hockey Bio: Steve
started playing competitive hockey when he was 10 years
old, following his Dad and three older brothers into Railway
Union Hockey Club in Dublin. (Railway compete in the Leinster
Provincial Leagues and national competitions. They have
6 mens teams, 5 ladies teams and 4 youth teams.) He played
with Railway until 2000, captaining the club in 1998/99.
After moving to Chicago in 2000, Steve took a sabbatical
from hockey before hooking up with CFHC in Spring 2005.
CFHC Experience:
CFHC has really re-awakened my love
of hockey. Not just getting out and playing again but
also making so many great friends through the club. It’s
been great to see the growth of CFHC in the last year,
long may it continue!
