Outdoor Update
. . . . . We have had some questions about scheduling of Outdoor scrimmage this year, as always its a pretty democratic process to choose when we play,
with the one caveat that it can't clash with scheduled NU events on the field. Unfortunately we don't have access to the field timetable and even if we did
history tells us its rarely updated. We do know that the majority of Saturdays through the summer seem to be free. It's not a guarantee but the last few years
suggest that with one or two exceptions we will be fine. I set up a poll on the website forum with five possible options. Please go and select the time that works best for you.
Justine posted a poll about midweek practice also, if memory serves, the pitch is used for intra-mural sports most evenings in April and May and thats why traditionally we haven't started
midweek practice until later in the spring. We'll try and confirm if this is the case this year also.

JFK Hockey
Tournament, May 19th -20th
. . . . . So we are very excited to announce that our application to send a Mens and Ladies team to the JFK
hockey tournament in Virginia Beach on May 19th-20th has been accepted. This is no mean feat given that the 10 team divisions are both full,
and teams from as far afield as India are expected to be partaking. The tournament has a 40+ year history and its a sign of how far
we have come that we are able to go and compete. We are still recruiting to fill the rosters, so if you'd like to partake please let us know
and you'll be considered for selection.

Upcoming Tournaments Update
Columbus: It seems that the Midwest Classic in Columbus, OH will not take place on April 14th and 15th as originally advertised.
The possible date now seems to be May 12th-13th, as this is the week before JFK it seems unlikely we will be able to convince enough people to travel
two weekends in a row. I don't think we'll be able to send a team, if people feel very strongly that they would still like to go, please email me and express this
and we can start putting a Roster together.
Chicago Cup: We are trying one last line of attack to secure a contract for Northwestern this week. We have received word from Oak Park, that the pitch may be available
for a weekend at the end of June, we are in the process of confirming this. Our aim is to have a definite date and location by April 10th at the latest.
