Shahid Selected for Mid Atlantic Squad!!
. . . . . Fantastic news this week. Shahid has been selected for the Mid Atlantic Squad to compete at the National
Championships in Chula Vista, CA on May 1st - May 6th. This is the tournament used to pick the US National Squad for 2007-08.
Shahid was selected following two trials and competed with the best players in the Mid Atlantic region to secure a place on the squad, a
truly great achievement. It is also a very significant for the club as it serves to raise our profile by having a player compete in this tournament.
Very best of luck Shahid, you carry the clubs best wishes as you prepare to head out west!

Outdoor Update
. . . . . Just a quick reminder that we have outdoor scrimmage again this Saturday from 2pm-4pm. Please note that
starting time, the aim is to have people there and ready to play as close to 2pm as possible, so we can get a worthwhile scrimmage in before 4pm.

Chicago Cup Update
Not much news right now, as we mentioned before we had approached Kelly from the Northwestern University Hockey Program to help us
obtain a contract for the pitch. Kelly has contacted the relevant folks at NU and stressed the urgency of the situation, we are waiting to hear back.
