2007 Subscriptions are due!!
. . . . . Shayan is now collecting 2007 dues from all members. The dues are the same as last year,
$100 for the year and $50 for students. To those not familiar, membership is necessary to attend
scrimmages and to represent CFHC in tournaments. We also require that all members are also members of
the US Field Hockey Association (this means you are insured when you play). To get USFHA membership go here
. You can either pay Shayan at Saturday scrimmage or forward your payment and proof
of USFHA membership to:

Outdoor Update
. . . . . Scrimmage is 2pm-4pm this Saturday at Northwestern University

Chicago Cup Update
.......Unfortunately, we finally got confirmation from Northwestern University that we will NOT be getting a
contract to hold the tournament there this summer. They are saying that they have been instructed to give
no contracts for this year due to planned construction in the vicinity of the field. We are assessing the viability of
having the tournament in Oak Park on the weekend of June 30th-July 1st (the only weekend this facility is available).
We have set ourselves a deadline of this Friday May 4th to come to a decision, I'll send out an email regarding the outcome on that day.
