Outdoor Schedule Update
. . . . . Outdoor scrimmages continue on Saturday next June 23rd at 2pm in Northwestern University. It seems like 2pm may not be suiting some folks all that
well right now, we had people arriving from about 1.45pm - 3.30pm on Saturday and it meant that scrimmage ended up being almost three seperate periods with different teams, pitch sizes etc..
Could we try to make more of an effort to get there by 2pm and if that time is not suiting people, please let me know and we can arrange another poll to change the scrimmage time.
Midweek practice at Northwestern University continues tomorrow night (Wednesday 20th) at the revised time of 8pm - 10pm. All are welcome.

Upcoming Tournaments Update
Boston Challenger Cup
We've been invited to partake in the 2007 Boston Challenger Cup. The tournament takes place at
MIT's astroturf field in Boston on July 28th and 29th and is organized by the Minutemen Field Hockey Club of Boston.
Initial estimates on cost would look something like:
Flights: $200-$240 (quick Orbitz check)
Hotel: $40/night (4 people sharing)
Tourney Fees: $60 per person ($900/16 - if we fill our rosters)
Transport in Boston: $30 (based on previous tournaments).
It seems clear at this point that we will not be sending a Mens squad to Boston, I've been in touch with the organizers and if individual men want to
attend, there are places available on other teams, please contact me for more info.
The Ladies Roster is looking healthier (see below), we potentially have 10 right now so if any other ladies would like to travel, please
let me know asap. A fall back option may be to pair with Team Philly who have 4 ladies and a GK looking to join a team.

Atlanta Cup!!
Our Mens and Ladies squads have been invited to defend their titles at this year's Atlanta Cup International Field Hockey
Tournament in Atlanta on Oct 6th and 7th. As those who have attended in the past will tell you, this is an excellent tournament,
well organized with plenty of good teams. We are hoping to send strong mens and ladies squads this year to defend the
titles we won in Atlanta last October.

Big Apple Hockey Festival!
We are starting to collect names for the Big Apple Hockey Festival in New York over Labor Day weekend.
Its a four day hockey festival held from Aug 31st - Sept 3rd in the New York City Area.
We don't need a definite 'yes' at this point, but if you are interested in attending, please let me know.
A couple of you have expressed interest already, please email me again and I can get a more formal roster going.
