Chicago Cup:
. . . . . It's here! There are many things
you can do to make our tournament a success this year. Expect
further emails this week as planning is finalized, and get
ready for a GREAT tournament!
. . . . . We are still in need of people to help manage the
coolers (keep them stocked, etc.) during the tournament. Email
Theresa if you can take this on.
. . . . . Everyone who is playing must help to collect balls
and work the score table during games - go

. . . . . The following items are needed - please email Theresa
if we can borrow any of them from you: Coolers, Air Horn,
Stereo and Speakers (loud ones w/ a microphone if possible).
. . . . . Schedule
is now posted. Take note of when you play! Your captain
will be contacting you with further details. (Chicago A, you
have first game - early to bed on Friday! :) ) We will need
plenty of help first thing in the morning
to set up cages, tents and tables, so if you can arrive by
7 am, PLEASE do so!
. . . . . Tournament fees must be given
to Shayan or Theresa ASAP (practice on Tuesday, or via mail
to Shayan's address). The cost is $35 and includes food at
the social.
. . . . . There are still places for female players on other
teams. The tournament will be more fun with full teams, so
if you're not on the Chicago teams, you can still play! And
if you know anyone who might be interested, please let them
know about the recruiting
board!
. . . . . Thank you to everyone who brought in advertising
dollars/services for the program! If there are any last minute
inclusions, I will take artwork until Tuesday (tomorrow).
