Atlanta Cup:
. . . . . The 2006 Atlanta Cup International Field Hockey
Tournament (held in Atlanta, GA) has a Men's and Women's Division
and will be held on October 7 & 8 this
year - we want to send a team in each division!! The registration
fee is $65/player, and hotel will cost in the neighborhood
of $60 for the weekend. Airfare looks around $250ish, and
car rentals should be something like $20-30/person (depending
how lost we get looking for Peachtree Street!). There has
been some discussion of fundraising to try to help offset
the cost, so we'll do what we can as a team. This was a fantastic
tournament last year, and it'll be a big step for the club
to have two teams traveling! The men were very competitive
last year and the women have an excellent chance of doing
very well if the teams attending in 2006 are similar. Please
submit your interest to Simon or Theresa (based on your gender)
ASAP if you'd like to stand for selection - this has been
designated as one of our competitive tournaments for the year.
The deadline to register our teams is July 31,
so we need to make sure we have a good amount of interest

Coaching Position:
. . . . . Assistant Field Hockey Coach: Loyola
Academy, a Jesuit College Preparatory School, is looking
for Assistant Field Hockey Coaches. The applicant should have
coaching or playing experience in field hockey at the high
school level or higher. The applicant should have a bachelor's
degree, and either be a certified teacher or be ACEP certified.

Goa Field Hockey Tournament:
. . . . . For the last 30 years the GOA Association has been
hosting the GOA Gold Cup Tournament in Toronto, and this year
is no exception. The GOA Gold Cup Tournament will be held
18th - 20th August 2006 in Toronto at Lamport Stadium. Team
Philly is looking for a few women to fill out their squad
for this years tournament. There's not a wealth of information
avaiable online, but the tournament website is: www3.sympatico.ca/goagoldcup/.
In order to make the tournament competitive and enjoyable,
plans are in place for a watered turf, a Barbeque Tent, a
night out at your favourite night club, and a chance to win
some huge prizes like trips to Florida and entertainment systems.
There will also be a prize of $1000.00 cdn for the winners
of the men and women's division. If you are interested, please

to come up with the best one -- email Theresa your suggestions!!
She'll compile them all and send out a vote in the next few
weeks so we can start sewing a costume for Atlanta :)!

Evanston Apartment
Available:
. . . . . As many of you know, Paul and Vera are moving to
Swarthmore at the end of August - their apartment in Evanston
will be available starting September 1, if anyone is looking
for a place in Evanston.It's a two bed, two bathroom place
