Weekday Training:

. . . . . Tuesday evening (September 12) starting at 7 pm at Northwestern University.

Weekend Practice:

. . . . . Saturday (September 16) starting at 4 pm at Northwestern University.

Coaching Opportunity:

. . . . . Some exiting news for field hockey in IL -- there's a new school that is willing to offer a program, and has interested and enthusiastic players!! One small problem is that they don't have a coach... The school is a junior high in Wilmette, they need someone for 7th / 8th grade. Please, if you are interested (and this is a great opportunity to influence the development of our future club members!), write or call Warren Dorn at: 630-834-2115 (office w/voicemail), 630-220-4623 (cell). He is the director of Windy City Field Hockey and will give you more information.

Officials Needed:

. . . . . The high school hockey league in the area could really use a few more offiicials to fill holes in their games schedule. Games don't take very much time (about an hour), and the pay is decent (depending on number of officials and level ~$50-65/game), but most importantly you are giving the girls a chance to play! Contact Erin Jones if you are interested - do NOT go through any coaches. Erin is the organizer for officials and things tend to get confused the more people that get involved. There is a tournament coming up at Oak Park this Friday and Saturday where they are still trying to fill spaces.

MidSeason Survey Results:

. . . . . The long awaited results are in! Thank you to the 22 people who (finally! in some cases) responded. As you can see, we've put a great deal of effort into not only putting together the survey, but in also compiling the results and responding to your concerns. Please use the links below to see the compilation of results, and a response by the board.

Ms. Schramke's Classroom:

. . . . . Justine has just started her first year of teaching 7th grade, and could use your help to get her classroom up and running. More information is available here.
