Tournaments 2008:

. . . . .Already the offers for tournaments in early 2008 are coming in thick and fast and we'd like to gauge the interest levels so we can figure out which ones we intend sending teams to.
Cinci is already full, but here are some more that people might be interested in:

Feb 9th-10th - Cactus Classic. Arizona, 9-a-side (squads of 13),

Mens and Ladies division. Probably a social option for us (for those new to this, social means first people to sign up get to go, competitive means strongest squad selected based upon those available.)
More info here:

March 8th-9th - National Indoor Club Championships - Virginia Beach.

Mens and Ladies division. Competitive

March 22nd-23rd - Florida Fives - Miami, Fl - 5-a-side (squad of 8)

Co-Ed. Social For those on Facebook, more info at the Miami Surf Field Hockey Club group.

April 11th-13th - 2008 USA Club Championship - Virginia Beach.

All of these tournaments have something to offer -
Arizona in February, need I say more.

National Indoors would be a great opportunity for those who want to take on the best indoor teams in the country and to test the skills you'll have been building in WCF all winter.

Miami in March is sure to be a good time and we know how well organized Degsy's tournaments are.

We went to Club Championships two years ago and it was a great opportunity to play some high class hockey and pit ourselves against some of the best clubs in the country.

Please give these tournaments some consideration and let Rico know which ones you are interested in. We don't need commitments or money right now, we just need to gauge interest to find out which tournaments we should target sending teams to. Please let us know!

From your captains, Mags & Steve.

Cinci Indoor Team:

. . . . . The squad for Cinci Indoor 2008 has been filled and the player lists have been handed over to the captains. We will be taking two teams to the tournament. Further details will be available as the tournament gets closer.

CFHC Website:

. . . . . Just wanted to let you all know that I am working on giving our CFHC Website a face-lift of sorts. I am exploring a few options that will allow us to do a few more things directly through the website. Nothing too drastic but just a few changes that will hopefully make our website more interactive and give it a slightly fresher look.

This ofcourse will take a little while. So please give it a little time.

Alarico.
